The Crossray+ built-in barbecue features the patented Crossray system, which uses infrared burners mounted on the sides of the barbecue. Because the burners are infrared, they are superior to traditional open flame burners. The infrared heat penetrates your food, i.e. cooks it from the inside, whereas a normal burner only heats the air around the food. This causes your food to dry out. Crossray+ infrared burners are also more efficient and grill faster than traditional burners. This means that the food is ready faster and you use much less gas. As the burners are not located directly under the cooking surface, fats and juices do not fall onto the burners. Smoke will be considerably reduced and the flames that burn your meat will disappear.

How does it work? With side-mounted infrared burners, the CROSSRAY+ barbecue burner system creates an even, predictable heat bed that combines the intensity of charcoal with the convenience and control of gas. You don't need to be an expert to produce professional quality food...
